Attorney Murray Richman tells Us Weekly the robbery allegation is "completely untrue," and that DMX obliged the men's request to take a picture with him. He further claims that the alleged victims offered the rapper drugs. "It's nonsense," he says of the robbery story, adding that DMX (real name Earl Simmons) "didn't rob" anyone. "Earl makes enough money," Richman tells Us. "He's doing very very well. What the heck did they make these allegations for?"
DMX
and his entourage have been accused of robbery by a man in Newark, N.J.,
multiple news outlets reported on Sunday, April 5, and Monday, April 6.
According to the reports, no charges have been filed against the rapper, but
police are investigating the man's claims.
