Explosion Rocks Mosque In Yobe, 3 People Injured

A bomb blast from suspected Boko Haram suicide attacker targeted a group of Shiite Muslims and injured three people in Potiskum, Yobe State.

The bomber on Monday detonated his explosives a few metres from an open-air mosque in the Dogo Tebo area of Potiskum shortly after noon prayers.

An eye witnesses said that three worshippers were hit by shrapnel and sustained mild injuries while the bomber who is thought to be about 30 years old had his thighs and legs blown off.
